Meet the Team
Paul – Fabrication & Craftsmanship
20 years of fabrication experience
Paul brings over 20 years of fabrication experience to the business, specialising in wrought iron gates, railings, and bespoke metalwork. He is highly skilled in all types of welding and metal fabrication, with a career that has seen him work for – and manage – some of the most prestigious fabrication factories in the North East.
His extensive experience means every design is not only visually striking but also structurally sound and built to last.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter and loves the outdoors, particularly hiking and exploring nature.
Michael – Design, Operations & Customer Experience
Diverse background in engineering
Michael brings a diverse background in engineering, manufacturing, and sales management, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both production and customer service.
Having worked in manufacturing since leaving school, and most recently in engineering, Michael understands the importance of precision, quality, and efficiency. His previous experience in sales management also helps ensure every customer receives a clear, professional, and friendly service from start to finish.
Outside the workshop, Michael enjoys time with his wife and two young children, and loves being outdoors — especially kayaking and paddle boarding.
Johnny – Welder
Newly Qualified Welder
Johnny recently joined the team after completing his welding qualifications at college. He’s already proving to be a quick learner with a great work ethic, and he’s keen to keep developing his skills in fabrication and metalwork.
With his enthusiasm and dedication, Johnny has a big future ahead in the trade.
Mick – Driver & Workshop Support
Electrical Engineer and Fabricator Experience
Mick is our dad and a big part of how this whole journey started. Having previously worked as both an electrical engineer and a fabricator, he’s always been someone who could build or fix just about anything. From a young age he taught us the importance of hard work, practical skills, and doing a job properly.
Now semi-retired, Mick handles many of our deliveries, but he can’t resist lending a hand around the workshop whenever he’s nearby.
Danielle & Jen – Admin & Accounts
Organisation of the Business
Danielle and Jen help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Working part-time around family life, they manage admin, accounts, and the day-to-day organisation of the business.
Their support ensures things stay organised so the workshop team can focus on designing and building great gates and railings.
A Partnership Built on Experience
Paul and Michael combine their skills to create a business built on experience, trust, and quality craftsmanship.
Together, they bring expertise from across fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, and customer service, allowing them to guide customers through the entire process — from design and customisation to fabrication and completion.
